Utugi Children’s Home began as a simple feeding program for street children, inspired by Christian love and compassion. Over time, it grew into a full-fledged home, offering holistic care — physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational — to vulnerable children.
We are registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection as a Charitable Children’s Institution (CCI). The home is managed by the Anglican Diocese of Kirinyaga under the Social Welfare Board, in partnership with government ministries, sponsors, and the local community.
